Subject: .05 cents per message on E-mail

Guess the warnings were true. Federal Bill 602P 5-cents per E-mail sent. It figures! No more free E-mail! We knew this was coming!! Bill 602P will permit the Federal Government to charge a 5-cent charge on every delivered E-mail.

It's a hoax e-mail that's been propagated for years. There is no such thing as Bill 602P. Heck, the House and Senate don't even use terms like that. It's an HR-nnn or S-nnn.

The original intent of this particular e-mail hoax was to flood the House and Senate e-mail servers. And the damn thing is still floating around.

P.S> Anytime you see a phrase like Send this E-mail to EVERYONE on your list it's a very, very, very good bet that the e-mail is either a hoax or has a virus.
