Peter, I'm as puzzled as anyone. I did talk with someone who told me that she thought it was good news, but I expected a release Friday. I suspect it is either an announcement that the over hang on the company's stock is now gone and the closing didn't get finished Friday or the worst case may be that either the SEC or the Company's legal council told the O & D of HC that they could not buy common stock in the open market right before earnings were to be released. Legal council of the Company then said, if they don't buy they might be sued since the press release inferred they intend to buy at bargain price on Friday and many investors relied on that information when they bought the stock on Wend and Thursday. What to do next? Stop the trading and get all the public news out in the market ASAP, so out comes news on the GE venture. I bet they are working around the clock all weekend to get the earnings release out. Even if they finished up last Friday, it would not make any sense to announce good news after the market is closed on Friday. I would now expect to see a release just prior to the market opening on Monday. Only speculation, but your guess is as good as mine. Good luck to us all on Monday. Jim
