Thanks TS,

My purpose is eliminating as many whips as possible without delaying the signal more than necessary. I like your NR7 idea! I see another on 11/30 that's a lone green bar between 2 reds. I don't think it should be green even by my rules as I understand them because it's a reversal up with a lower close hence not confirmed... but the interesting thing about that 11/30 bar along with your comment is it's an NR7 also. I think you just made me some money! : )

Although 11/30 could be a code bug too because I've been through so many revisions recently I'm not certain I've covered everything adequately. I recently attempted an adaptive inside bar function that uses normal inside bar rules when the range exceeds 1.5*avgTrueRange(20) along with a function that uses Dunnigan's screwy but often sweet inside rules that requires breakout of the original bar that begins an inside sequence. I found that too risky when range expands but nice when bars are fairly normal size... but I had to comment out the code because it was causing other problems I didn't want to deal with at the time. I'll return and get it right soon.

It was simply c>c[1] that determined 1/10 wouldn't reverse down... close is about 67% within the range and I used to have some exceptions based on location within range but I think they've all been eliminated. As you can tell I'm in the midst of updating and finalizing the recent batch of changes.

And yes the exception I noted myself about 1/10 was that it broke below multiple lows. Not a common occurence without reversing swing to down. Thinking that part of the exception will be lowest(L,3)[1] because anything less would have caused 1/8 to trip a downswing and I don't want that. Although 1/8 is an NR6 so I'll have to spend some time to get the best all around combination.

I really appreciate your comments! Thanks again and best regards, MM
