displays how the folks in the Texas oil industry behave. I worked for about a decade with Dresser, the anchor of Halliburton. I have some ideas about the Texas oil industry. Former Governor Ann Richards said it best, "These are people born on second base and they think they hit a double". I enjoyed some of the conventions and trips and parties. No other industry I know can party like a Texas oil company. I am also not the least bit surprised that Halliburton, and especially the Dresser components are crumbling without federal protections. However, I did my best work there. TP
