I dunno David. One of the things I've figured out, and I think it's the most important thing I've figured out, is that the most useful data is disaggregated data.

Just finished reading a paper by one of my most favorite big shot economists, and to put it bluntly, he got an entire paper, and a very important paper at that, by comparing two charts.

Well, hell. The data is aggregated to heck and back. It would be much more useful if it was monthly, rather than annual - daily would be better but I am not unreasonable - and it would be much more useful if it was disaggregated by industry, although that's just a dream.

As Mark Twain said, there are lies, damn lies, and statistics.
