There are many Iraqis who hate Saddamn's guts.

If I was in total control over the Iraqi sanctions, I would keep them. It is far more important, for me, to restrict Saddamn's funds for development of weapons of mass destruction, than for me to care how many Iraqis like me.

In other words, I would rather not be popular then be dead.
