Is it just the Repubican party? L, I can't deny it right now, it is the Republican party. That particular dig was a response to another personal attack and I can't defend it very well. Lately, in the last half dozen years, the Republicans have become completely controlled by the religious right wing whose only ambition seems to be to promote abortion laws and denigrate Clinton. Specificly in Texas, Perry is a milktoast. That in effect means he is a far right winger because he doesn't have the personal fortitude to take any position left of , Phil Gramm or so. I don't know for sure his convictions and I don't think he knows them himself anymore. It has all become a new "political correctness" where he won't take a position I hadn't heard before and didn't like then. TP
