Now that is interesting. Gene Epstein's column is the principal reason that I buy Barron's. I find him to be intelligent, objective and rational.

Have you asked yourself how/why you became so psychologically vested in the idea of an economic collapse? I do not pretend to know whether this will or will not take place, though I believe that it will not. Why are you so eager for a collapse? I am curious.
