Nice, but why the big delay?

The Los Angeles office of the SEC seems to take several years before getting around to filing suit for these scams.

It was the same way with Hitsgalore; several years after the scam, and after the company essentially ceased to exist, the SEC finally filed a suit earlier this month.

Plus, the SEC settled for the usual slap on the wrist. A $50 k fine for Halimi's role in the Turbodylution scam, which cost investors maybe a thousand times that much.
