- on the issue of the USS Liberty - & why Israel bombed it - I think it just shows how inept & incompetent all levels of Gov't are - including the military - there was absolutely no reason for it except total ineptitude - I compare the USS Liberty to the US helicopter shot down in the Iraqui no-fly zone a few years ago - despite fly-bys - several confirmations - etc... we still shot down one of our own
