I have Download Accelerator installed but I never run it, nor is it in my startup under msconfig.

BTW, I have tried renaming the hosts files with no luck. This is frustrating to say the least, especially in the fact that I am not even unable to uninstall IE6 as it is part of the system. And because of this, no other browser seems to work.
