But look at the hit in relative ASPs Intel has been forced to accept to get P4 to sell.

With PIII, Intel was shipping a smaller, less expensive chip at ASPs about 100% higher than those of AMD.

With P4, Intel is shipping a larger, more expensive chip at ASPs about 50% higher than those of AMD.
