"You and Rich don't seem as bullish as da Cheif. Why?"

This brought a smile to my face. I havent seen anyone as bullish as da Chief anywhere. You should see the battles he wages over at Wollie World against some wayward bears. I cant possiblly be that bullish and I cant speak for Rich either. Of course I think da Chief is on his own mission with that horse of his that he's trying to let run...and someone's gotta do it. With his experience and wit, he's da best bull around to handle that job.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I see the 30's slightly above the zero line and would like to see them coming from deeper in the hole like they did at the end of September. I dont have the data going back far enough to know how well they can accelerate upward starting from where they are now, so I dont have anything from da clx to hang my hat on. Short term, the 10's and 3's point up, but I'm trying to keep a longer term outlook which to me is more important than what will happen next week or next couple of weeks. You know, those zigs and zags dont mean much as long as the long term zig is up.

The environment certainly seems poised to support further advances in terms of interest rates, money on the sidelines, past corrective declines, etc. So on that basis I'm lOOking for an upward bias in the weeks ahead, perhaps not as strong as we saw coming off Sept 21. I'd still like to think we'll see Nas do something like this:

But.....just fun 'n games and I'm rambling. Do you have a target in mind for a wave 3 up?
