Les, that's an interesting story. There is a huge website on the Internet that I won't direct anyone to, which is populated by a huge group of the slickest of the slick real estate investors, some of whom specialize in owning and renting mobile homes to the unwashed herd. These investors are so professional about it that they conduct seminars and workshops, for cripes sake.

Their tactics don't pass my personal ethics test, so I won't tell anyone where to find this thread....but suffice it to say that mobile-home lending is a business unto itself and makes some people a VERY good living.
