I don't follow those companies. The other ones which I follow and am slowly entering are. GLW, PMCS, VTSS, AMCC ATML, A. My largest holding is Avanex. For the past year I have been buying monthly. Whichever one is the cheapest I pick up. Amcc/Glw are ways off from recovery. But, then who follows the herd. The trend is lower cost for more bandwidth. Both Corvis/ Avnx/Onis provide this. Cutbacks in Capex will force the telecom providers to focus on saving costs. They will eventually migrate to an all otpical solution rather than beef up the dying Sonet empire. How long will this take?. No clue. Once, the recession is over, growth starts again the optical compaines will flourish. It will be intresting to see who survvies and who gets taken over....
