Surely you are aware by this time that prior to the bombings Japan had conscripted into military service all males from 15 to 60, and all females from 15 to 45.

Are you saying that 97% of the Hiroshima population consisted of children 14 and under, males 61 and over, and females 46 and over? That seems like a very odd population distribution for a city, especially one which was headquarters for the Japanese Army responsible for homeland defense.

Or are you saying that military personnel are "innocent" in time of war?
