Have you ever heard of the Louise Woodward case?

She was the British nanny accused of killing an infant while babysitting him. The jury convicted her of murder. The judge (in Boston) overturned the jury's verdict by reducing it to involuntary manslaughter. The judge then sentenced her to "time served" (while awaiting trial), which was less than a year. She walked out of court a free woman.

The baby in this case died from a brain injury, which according to the prosecution was caused by slamming the baby against a wall.

Since Thomas Junta is from a Boston suburb, he probably remembers this case. If you were him, wouldn't you feel you had a gripe?
