Wanna know your are sounding foolish. Wanna writes: Neither latency nor bandwidth by themselves is relevant when talking about getting data to the CPU Wanna latency is very relative to CPU performance. Disable your L2 cache in BIOS and run some benchmarks. You change the Latency to the CPU by doing so. Bandwidth only comes into play if your pushing a large amount of data. I've been talking about performance this whole time. You sould like your talking about trace runs on the MB which by the way have a latency attached to them. That's why the L2 was integrated on to the chip. I guess I over estimated you. Milo
