Well Max, my only hope is that Martz and Rams fans learned not to shoot their mouthes off so much. They forgot you actually have to play before you win !! We had our shot; didn't get it done at crunch time and the Rams did. Their O line did the job; kept the blitz off Warner the whole game, opened up holes for Faulk who is simply the best. So .... no excuses .... we came, played our hearts out and didn't get it done. I think next year, Buckhalter will start but it will still be interchangeable parts. He and Duce have different strengths; I think you'll see them essentially split time back there. Pinkston only proved all year that he's a #5 receiver; if Freddie Mitchell isn't starting next year, he should quit ! Looks like they decided a year ago to push Trotter out the door ... a mystifying decision. No attempts at negotiations the past year at all ... I think they're making a big, big mistake. 25 yo All Pro middle linebackers don't fall out of trees ... and this team goes as its' defense goes ! We'll be around for a long time; yesterday was the start, not the end. JB
