Did it ever occur to you how stupid your harping about low AMD yields may look if you are wrong? If you had followed the entire discussion you would have seen that the real point is that AMD has made several claims and they can't all be true. That's the point. Yields could be great but then demand must be low. You can't deny the fab is capable of producing far more die of Athlon's size than AMD is currently selling and a process conversion just doesn't take up half the fab when it was already cu to begin with. If low demand is the real reason then so be it. Low demand coupled with red ink in a demand driven quarter with the competition unable to supply the market is not a good thing. Take your pick. Bad yields or low demand. EP
