<<Had a conversation with an engineer for Anderson Windows today and their sales are 40% ahead of last winters sales. Looks like housing is still in go go mode.>>

Would report the same from Boston. We're re-doing the kitchen and getting people to work is damn near impossible. The guy (team) that skim-coated a couple new walls said they are full-upped booked 6 days a week for 2 months. Sub-zero just raised their prices 6-7%; we had to buy b4 Jan 31 to avoid the price increase.

This smells SOOOO much like a blow off top. Anderson Windows up 40% is like what went on in semiconductor land or with lease rates for land rigs in West Texas. A very wise man once said to me "nothing comes off allocation gently" which is why I am expecting the downturn in housing to be surprisingly fast and deep, when it does come.

Cheers
