Canada has a long history of not lavishing dollars on its military, but I don't think it is from a lack of caring for the country. I think your right, why should they build up their military when they have their neighbors to the south to protect them? Can you imagine the U.S. just sitting there while another country invaded Canada? No way, never happen. NM
