<< In the interests of world peace, I would suggest the USA over zealous application of Iraq sanctions be stopped, as it only hurts the Iraq civilian population, >>

The sanctions have little effect on Iraq's civilian pop.

Saddamn Hussein can sell as much oil, as he wishes, for the benefit of the Iraqi people. The fact that he doesn't chose to, is his decision, sanctions or not.

<< Iraq is developing WMD, and Saddamn & Co are wackcos. >>

I agree. Dangerous wackos.

<< Time to change the tune from 10+ yrs of doing the same thing and hoping for the best (good try but didn't work) >>

The sanctions have had a significant impact on Saddamn's military capabilities. I think there is going to be a change of tune, shortly. We might find out more about it in Bush's State of the Union speech Tuesday.
