"Ask yourself why only a few major OEMs are carrying Athlon XP products"

According to Mike, HP had a design ready to go, but when nVidia slipped their schedule, HP cancelled it. Compaq had a model with the XP, and so did MicronPC. And then there were the systems in Europe and Asia...

There are reports of some Athlon XP based systems from HP showing up. I haven't seen them, and they aren't on HP's web site, so I dunno.
