SUNW no Enron. With all the hyped up stocks out there it is at least my opinion that SUNW is straight with shareholders that their business "sucks" but at least they don't promote and lie like so many companies we have heard of today. IMO Enron is the worst example of twisting truths about financial condition. I have been reading about a company called ImClone which, although, nothing concrete has yet to come out, has some shades of problems. The boards of directors of these companies provide a rubber stamp to the directions of the folks who appointed them. Also, the almighty stock options play a role in many a company. WHo loses? The shareholders. We are frequently the last to know.

I haven't seen this sort of thing with SUNW. When the dot.com craze was going on, "yes sir ree bob" they were promoting it, however, they are still promoting networked computing in much the same way as they always have. Now it may be better for them to re-invent themselves around some other markets and I think they are. i.e Cobalt announcement today on the low end.

This is not my point. Business in the capital spending market is bad. Let's face it. Despite this they are not doing the pump and dump or other lying and cheating ways others have self promoted. I feel bad that the stock is so low, however, I feel good to own a company which has been honest.
