<<There are also additional indications that the Aboronye deposit, 500 metres to the west of Mampon and outside the forest reserve, could host economic gold mineralization (see news in Stockwatch July 31, 2001), which could lead to additional royalties from Ashanti Goldfields.>>

So there could be even more than anticipated in the Ashanti deal.

<<Once the up-front royalty is received, Birim will be one of a few junior explorers with adequate funds in its treasury. The company is eager to undertake important drilling programs on the multiple targets it has outlined within the Sui belt, in west-central Ghana, where Birim is the titleholder to more than 7,000 square kilometres. Only one of these targets, the Tombe-Parabu prospect, has been tested with drilling so far and only to a very small extent.>>

All this gives Birim the funds to explore for more gold in land to which it already holds title, while Ashanti milks the cash cow for them.

It was and will continue to be worth the wait!
