Hi Mephisto,

FWIW, I live in Central Oregon. Sounds like you might be in SoCal?

Re: Baxter -

I just watched the CNBC Enron Scandal coverage and they have a reporter in Sugarland. The suicide note was to be released today, but the authorities have changed their mind and are holding back, reason unknown. There was footage of the Mercedes in impoundment. Interestingly, there was no sign of blood in the vicinity of the driver's area. The right rear window was plasticked over, in keeping with prior announcement that the security patrol broke out the window in order to gain access to the interior. There was a fairly clear view of the left side of the vehicle, and there was no sign of the exit of a .38 calibre bullet through the window glass or sheet metal as one would expect from a gunshot through soft tissue from a right-handed shooter. Curious. No blood spatter, no exit hole. Big bore weapon. It don't add up. I'm wondering if there are any ballistics experts on the thread who might have an opinion as to what might be going on here. Please, no jokes about how hard-headed Baxter was.

-Ray
