Z, Re: "For starters, it's a different core than T-bird..." Both Athlon 4 and Athlon MP started out with megahertz speed grades. Later, when Intel was leading in megahertz, AMD slapped a QuantiSpeed label on, and started naming them by model numbers. Soon, AMD's value processor will start using model numbers, even though the current Morgan core adds all the enhancements of Palomino, and is rated in megahertz. AMD has added nothing to these processors, and it's obvious that changing the naming convention is a knee-jerk reaction to Intel winning the megahertz race. wbmw
