Novell and Informix are in the same sinking boat. This article from Upside:

"It's a deep-seated set of issues, and I don't think it's a one-quarter blip," says Jim Pickrel, a senior technology analyst with Hambrecht & Quist in San Francisco. Pickrel has had a "hold" position on Informix's stock since October and says he's not likely to change that rating in the near future. "In the technology market, when you lose momentum it can create a lot of secondary effects," he says. Not only do potential customers look harder at your basic performance and company health, but you have people inside the company who leave, and sales reps find it harder to make their quotas because of the negative publicity. All those multiplier effects make it unlikely that Informix will recover this year."
