I use a support range, that I calculate using a range measurement. Even saying XYZ should hold support at 16.25 is not clear to me, if it goes down to 17 and bounces, is that holding support and a buy, or is someone waiting for it to get closer to 16.25 before buying? Is it best to use a percentage on each side? If it goes to 16.03 and bounces is that support or would you have stopped at 16.24? These are things we struggled with trying to keep a track record on our picks too, it isn't easy. And the reason we now post a buy range, a stop and a target, so there is no question.

Good discussion.

Sam
