I have no idea if this aids your theory but from my standpoint labor rate when it is too high is indicative of dollar. Markets reflect cost people bear right? March 2001 statistics are coming up with a mean income in Ca of 20 an hour based on a 35 hour work week. Included in that are numerous low income earners so it is very possible to me that the dollar could be very close to a peak if it has not peaked.
