...THE SNOW ADVISORY HAS BEEN EXPANDED FOR TONIGHT TO INCLUDE ALL OF THE SAN FRANCISCO AND MONTEREY BAY AREAS EXCEPT SAN FRANCISCO CITY...

VERY MOIST UNSTABLE AIR CONTINUES TO PRODUCE SCATTERED SHOWERS OVER THE CENTRAL COAST. SNOW LEVELS ARE ABOUT 1000 FEET IN THE SHOWERS... WITH SNOW LEVELS DROPPING TO NEAR 500 FEET IN THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS. SOME SNOWFLAKES COULD EVEN BE SEEN AS LOW AS SEA LEVEL...BUT WITH LITTLE IF ANY ACCUMULATIONS. AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE ABOVE 1500 FEET TONIGHT.
