AMD officially announced the Athlon XP 2000+ in January 2002. The tens of thousands of 2000+ chips sold at the end of Q4 2001 before the official release. IF you want to see three months of real ramp for this chip then see what AMD has sold by the end of Q1 2002 (if they break out that information).

It is obvious that the XP 2000+ was simply an attempt to steal Intel's thunder and AMD can't product this device in significant numbers.
