Four weeks ago, I thought we'd go through 7800 and close near 8000 before the June options expired. Here we are, at the crossroads again. Tomorrow's employment number dictates whether 7800 is resistance or support. Two days ago, I wrote to Chris and asked him if the techs generally wake up in July or August. Did we get the answer today? If so, my buy targets may not be seen. I was too chicken to add some more DELL this am. INTC never got low enough to add more. MOT, I just missed. All in all, I am about where I was three weeks ago. The only item to note is that the roller coaster ride is getting old. I had the OEX July 840 calls @ 24 1/2. I watched them go to 48 when we tested 7800 and watched them go to 29 when we were in the low 7600s. Now, they are back to 47 1/2 and I am still waiting for the ascent to DOW 8000. Keep your fingers crossed. Tomorrow's number will tell all.
