Please, Victor, don't tell me things like that. I'm already sick to death of all those thieves and crooks in high places and now you are dredging up dirt on more American icons. :) It goes to show you all those subsidies for farms are a big joke. Talk about a good argument against subsidy ideas, farming is my pet peave. That is one industry that us taxpayers have been carrying for too long. I say cut all farm subsidies and let all those farmworkers sink. That is one market that the government has not allowed the free markets to do their work on. I have a new subsidy idea: the gov't should pay $10K per month to anyone willing to insert their thumb in their butt and sit that way for 2 hours a month. :) I do believe subsidies have a place: primarily in getting entire industries jumpstarted or in getting the critical mass going so that the creative process can take hold. But subsiding tired and outdated industries is a joke and very counterproductive.
