Andreas, From reading the EET article, it seems that AMD will not have to pay huge premium to buy this company. VC capital has dried up, and the company needs funds to move from where they are to the next level, which AMD can provide. Also, with advanced process technology at AMD disposal, AMD could fab these (eventually with SOI) to achieve extremely low power consumption with high performance. Joe
