I've briefly looked at it in the past. I wasn't impressed. The business looks very risky, and GUMM seems totally dependent upon its few products and distributors. The stock seems to have done well recently, but it looks overpriced to me. But in all fairness, I've given it only about 30 minutes of research recently. For me, that's barely scratching the surface.

If you're looking for a good stock to invest in, I could list a few that should do extremely well over the next several months & years.

My favorite is THQI (check out the thread on SI). Other good companies are ZIGO, CCSC, SMTC. A stock which may potentially triple (or more) before 1998 is NM, by virtue of a takeover, although it carries more risk than the others. Another stock that is on the ground floor is INTD. Sometime this year, INTD should begin to climb. Click on my personal profile and follow the links for the aforementioned stocks.

I'm fairly sure that they offer a better investment than GUMM.
