This is deliciously ironic, don't you think. You want advisers who can speak freely and openly..... as long as it can be kept secret from the public. That's rich.

The Bush Administration is trying mightily to frustrate FOIA requests, has just put a gag order on the Presidential records from the Reagan era. What do these people have to hide? At least they give the appearance of being deceivers, if in fact they truly believe that what they are preserving is "Executive Privilege". I don't believe we are deceived by this. They got information to hide that would embarrass them, or worse, may prove criminal intent, and they don't want to have to come clean.
