Enron Pension Fund Blackout Period

Mephisto,

Re: Do you have information on the Enron pension plan,
the one that was transferred so employees
couldn't sell?

I don't have anything in my file specific to the matter. However, it has been made clear in some reporting that Enron, in fact, notified its employees well in advance of the black-out period and thus the employees had fair warning of the event. I don't think you will find anything illegal about Enron's actions in this regard, however unfortunate the timing turned out to be.

HTH, Ray :)
