I am sure it is a factor. Approximately 70% of divorces in the US are filed by women. Personally, my marriage was in trouble in '89 when my kids were 2 and 4. Things are okay now, but I can honestly tell husbands that many marriages fail when wives have pre-school children in the home. It takes no more than a trip to the grocery store to see women with small children in tow with no wedding rings. It is a very stressful time for women with pre-school children and men should be well aware of it. My marriage survived, but many of my friends marriages have not. * * *
