Jim, Re: "I see we are back to emphasizing SPEC now." There was no emphasis; nor was any needed. The scores speak for themselves, but we all know that SPEC is not the only way to measure performance. Still, I imagine AMD's QuantiSpeed justification whitepaper that detailed the horrible reduction of IPC from the Pentium III to the Pentium 4, while citing SPECint as a source, may have to be taken in a different light now. wbmw
