same thing happened to me in 97, ATT account took 3 years to clear. I had put the fraud alert 1 day after I was hacked. I virtualy was threatening,through my lawyer, lawsuit's against both ATT and the 3 agencies. Really un unpleasent situation, I wont give anyone my SS# now.
