Mephisto: There were several standing ovations, 73, I believe over the course of his 43 minute speech. There was no thunderous applause, it looked orchestrated. I think the democrats were very respectful as Bush was careful to avoid talking in specifics. Anyway, he did look good in his appearance. He has this hawklike nose, that I'm pretty sure was accented with makeup to make him appear more hawklike. His eyes were glistening, not with tears, more like triumph. He does have 80 percent popularity right now. He's riding that crest for now....
