>>If they let the ambulances go through unchecked, every suicide bomber would ride to Israel in an ambulance.<<

Oh, ugh. Wow. Nadine. Lookit. Nine month pregnant woman in labor. How hard of a choice can that be? In the US, the police would escort her to the hospital, sirens blaring.

Where's your humanity? Ever been in labor? I have. It's the worst thing I've ever experienced.

Ever seen a baby stilborn? I have. It would make a stone weep.

Ever known a child who was brain damaged due to hypoxia, because a C-section was needed but delayed? My first cousin is one. Or a kid who is paraplegic for the same reason? Used to have a neighbor like that.

>>You are reading one side of the story only.<<

No, ma'am. I know both sides, and letting people die or become disabled because their ambulance can't get through a check point is wrong. Morally wrong. Should be illegal. In the US, I'd sue their asses so fast, and I'd win the cases, too.

Reminds me of how they used to treat black folks down here. Only in the US, the Jews spoke out about it. Some marched against it, and some were killed by cops and/or the KKK, and everyone thought it was an outrage. I've never lost my abilty to feel outrage, regardless of the color of the skin of the victim, regardless of the ethnic flavor of his or her outside. Inside, their blood is just as red. So said the Merchant of Venice, Shakespeare's Jew, and we all share his outrage, don't we? What's the diff?

>>He hath disgraced me, and
hindered me half a million; laughed at my losses,
mocked at my gains, scorned my nation, thwarted my
bargains, cooled my friends, heated mine
enemies; and what's his reason? I am a Jew. Hath
not a Jew eyes? hath not a Jew hands, organs,
dimensions, senses, affections, passions? fed with
the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject
to the same diseases, healed by the same means,
warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer, as
a Christian is? If you prick us, do we not bleed?
if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison
us, do we not die? and if you wrong us, shall we not
revenge? If we are like you in the rest, we will
resemble you in that. If a Jew wrong a Christian,
what is his humility? Revenge. If a Christian
wrong a Jew, what should his sufferance be by
Christian example? Why, revenge. The villany you
teach me, I will execute, and it shall go hard but I
will better the instruction.<<

BTW, how many of those check points would exist if the Israelis were not occupying the West Bank and Gaza, to protect their settlers?
