VSE Awarded U.S. Coast Guard FMS ContractVSE International Group Selected for Five-Year, $25 Million Support Contract PR NEWSWIRE - January 30, 2002 09:58 ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan 30, 2002 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- VSE (Nasdaq: VSEC) announced that its International Group has been awarded a contract to support the U.S. Coast Guard's Foreign Military Sales Program. The new contract is an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery type contract with a base year and four one-year options extending to January 27, 2007. The contract, which has both fixed price and time-and-material provisions, has an estimated five-year value of about $25 million. Work under the contract will commence immediately. VSE Executive Vice President and International Group Director Jim Knowlton said, "We are very pleased to have been selected by the Coast Guard for this important contract. We have supported the Coast Guard's foreign military sales requirements for several years, and we look forward to meeting new challenges during the next five years as the program evolves. This is a great opportunity for VSE to increase its level of support to the Coast Guard, and we intend to work very closely with our customer to ensure the success of this international program."
