Alex, I'm not sure I got you mixed up with Father Terrence, but I think I got you mixed up with someone. The comment I directed to you about there being legitimate uses of government, particularly in issues that require policy decisions, was actually a response to the person who remarked that whatever problem I was talking about, they bet I would expect a government to solve it (untrue). It was a little dificult to respond to so many posts at the same time. I have been doing a lot of reading lately, and it was simply a mistake, not any intent on my part to include you in any particular group--which I do not, incidentally. I assume that everyone is an independent, free thinking sort until they prove themselves otherwise, and I have been impressed with the diversity of your posts across SI, particularly when it looked like you got stuck in the middle over at the Minute Subjects fracas a while back. Sorry!
