Last night I relived 2000 as I transcribed my Year 2000 Consolidated Investment Statement into TurboTax. It was not a pleasant reminder. I owned all the "hot" stocks. Storage, Networking, CRM, ASP, you name it. Although I lost a TON of money I was fortunate to have sold stocks like Exodus, Juniper, CommerceOne, I2, etc... in February and March. Sometimes margin is good when it forces you throw in the towel on stocks you still believed in.
Thank God I had capital gains in real estate to offset some of the losses. Is anyone else going through a similar experience?
