Ann...many of the left would like us all to believe it was "just about sex"....While most of us say...."who cares about that".... Fact is, Clinton was given America's sacred trust to be President of the United States, and to do his BEST to fulfill his duties, including both domestic and foreign affairs, AND OBL --Al-Qaeda, etc. It is NOT the fault of American's of ANY political stripe that Clinton choose to have his personal affairs in the White House, on public time. He is directly the one who made the choices he did. And I think you and I both know, that if ANY CEO of any consequence did any of the same things while he/she was working for his/her Corporation, he/she would have been out of office, with possible charges filed, VERY quickly. Why didn't the far right act responsibly & delay its attacks on Pres. Clinton while he occupied the oval office? That rabid group can share the blame with him for being so distracted with legal problems that OBL was able to orchestrate his evil plans free from U.S. pressure. The fact his enemies couldn't wait to expose his personal scandal until his term had expired proves it was purely political motivation on their part.
