We have some very happy and excited people in Viet Nam.
The man that introduced us to the village is so excited that someone cares. This wonderful man, Mr Hung, a former math professor before the fall of South Viet Nam, and now a independent taxi driver(only option open to him).....is so invigorated.
For years he has spent most anything and everything he earns taking care of these people, and obviously they adore him. He acts as a father figure for the whole village.... there actually are very few men in the village, as minorities they do the hardest most dangerous work out there, and get killed off.
Anyway, he is moving at light speed through the bureaucracy, they are so happy for outside help. His emails to us are wonderful, and many. He is keeping my interpreter very busy.
Thanks, Rose and everyone else that is helping, you are REALLY, REALLY helping. And I REALLY, REALLY appreciate it.
I am working other angles for some funding, I'll keep ya all informed. That's my report for today..
