of course the patented answer to this is: "If the USD falls, the terrorists have won!" Manipulation to inflate the dollar is accepted as patriotic. For Wall Street banksters, it's virtuous and self-serving.

Frankly, can't see any of the manipulators appropriating themselves any wiggle room on the dollar until the economy improves; even then, with the greed factor in the system, the financials won't like a weaker USD a bit. Suspect any large drop in the dollar will adversely affect or blow up many derivative deals.

Therefore, with Wall Street firmly in charge of US economic policy, we'll inevitably get a series of confidence crises that deflates the dollar...perhaps even causes a "crash" as virtuous turns vicious....the boyz shoulda been guiding the dollar down since last summer...too proud, too greedy.
